BadgeStack Single Sign-On Now Available Through IMS Basic Learning Tools Interoperability
“IMS’s Basic Learning Tools Interoperability standards support seamless integration and interaction between learning systems,” said Dr. Rob Abel, Ed. BadgeStack Gives Organizations Power to Grant Mozilla Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) Compliant Digital Badges
“We are excited about BadgeStack – it will bootstrap the badge ecosystem by enabling more organizations to easily become badge issuers. We are even more excited to see the OBI standards integrated into the BadgeStack system,” said Mozilla’s Learning Director, Erin Knight.

DML Stage 1 Winner: Citizen Schools
We are pleased to be integrating the Citizen Schools Apprenticeship Badges project into the BadgeStack DML proposal for stage 2. Citizen Schools will join several other DML Stage 1 Winners as BadgeStack partners and collaborators. Citizen Schools digital badges will function as visible manifestations of learning, documenting the effort and mastery of individual students, groups of students, and volunteers.

We are delighted that BadgeStack partner MoneyWizdom has been selected as a stage 1 winner in the Digital Media and Learning (DML) Badges for Lifelong Learning Competition. We are working with MoneyWizdom to create a badge-empowered system that rewards learners as they learn and demonstrate skills needed to develop a plan for starting a small business.
